lyrics

Wrote a letter with my life
Summed up inside
And all it said is "Hi."

Addressed to you but really to
Everyone I've ever met
And never met
I know that we could be friends
Could be friends.

"I meet an organism. I get to know it. And then it suddenly dies. And then, I get sad. Why does that happen?"
"Perhaps that just shows you humans have too much time on their hands. But still, having those feelings is also their greatest merit. To live with such room in their hearts! It is indeed a wonderful gift." -Parasyte: The Maxim, Episode 24

I've written you more than one letter now that I'll probably never send. I wrote them because I missed you, and I thought that maybe you were the person I was meant to spend my life with. And I was afraid of losing that chance. But now I think I better understand love, and the myth of it. The myth that you're only allowed to fully love one person. Loving you did help me understand how beautiful it is to love fully. But now that you have refused my request to be lovers again, I've been forced to face the fact, that love is bigger than you or me, or any two people. That love is out there, wherever people come to trust each other. And so I have the courage to rejoin the world, because that is where love is.
