lyrics

Meghan Beebe
Twenty One
Worked at camp with me
One summer.

Then in January
Back at home
She got killed by a
Drunk Driver.

David Gioia
Lived alone,
An occasional
Drunk Driver.

He left the bar one night
And headed home.
Crashed his car into a
Telephone pole.

And at the hospital,
The damage done,
There was a hope that he
Would get better.

But there was evil lurking
In his skull.
It took him down,
And I saw him at his funeral.

Sweet Naomi
Had no home,
But she had Pete sleeping
Beside her.

And she had diabetes,
And they were drunks,
But when the snow came down
He'd guide her.

Till Pete went behind bars
And she got tired.
She checked herself into
The shelter.

A couple months ago
I heard the news.
The blood sugar
Wasn't what killed her.

Kathy Parziel
Stayed at home
And took care of her
Young daughter.

She had a family
That didn't know
About what was building up
Inside her.

She took her bottles and
She took her cans
And stuffed them into her
Back pocket.

And she left home
And everyone.
Now we're just hoping she
Gets better.
